Moving Forward

I recently posted a video I made for a friend. I used Flash to animate the characters and Photoshop to get the photos ready to be animated. This is the first time I truly animated a video in Flash. I've done work in Flash in the past but nothing like that. It's no jib jab but it's still good for first time!

In other news Pre Production of the new machinima I'm making has started. The music has been selected and things are getting gathered. I haven't used The Sims 2 on the computer I'll be using in a long time so It will be interesting. I imagine I'll start filming shots next week but who knows. Life might become my priority. I have some pretty awesome stuff in store for the new video though so it is exciting to me. I'll keep you updated.

Coming Along

So far the website is looking better. I put up the logo a week ago and I re posted Rockstar on youtube. What a terrible time I've had with that movie! Anyway, moving along I am working computer stuff right now. I have a new video that I'm going to start working on but I need to work out some computer issues. It's amazing how everything just stopped working when I came home. When I say everything I mean everything! Including the computer. I'll get it working again if it's the last thing I do. I don't want to say much about the project but it's going to be made from The Sims 2. With the pros and cons I'm going to go with The Sims 2. That's all I can say for now but you'll be pleased with the results. Hopefully. Gotta run!

An Update

I started doing some test renders a few days ago. So far they are terrible but I can see how far I can go with the test shots. The final product will be so much better. I'm working on the website slowly but I've been working on updating the youtube profile more. I took off some videos that just needed to go. I'm not sure why but I just posted part 3 and 4 of Moirai and not part 1 and 2. Weird. Well, it's gone now anyway making room for future work. One movie that was up there was Reviere. Wow, what can I even say about that movie? I think some of the effects are great but the movie is not so great. It's gone and locked in the vault. The random Halo 3 videos I had up are off too. I'll warn you now Rockstar will be going off. I just don't have the heart to take it off yet. Unfortunately it didn't get the attention it deserved from me in its most vulnerable time. When I left for Florida thesims2.com saw it on their forum and loved it along with Wendy. They featured it and it got massive feed back. 5 months later I hear about what happened and start reacting to it. It was too late. A weird little youtube executive or noob on youtube flagged it for the credit music. They took it off and replaced the entire video with a stupid song. Now it's still on my profile as a reminder of what it could have been.

More Sims 2 won't be back for a while. I'm working on other media. I've done 3D animation, machinima, and stop motion. Something recently has sparked my attention and I've been working with it for a few weeks. I'll let you know how things develop.
